Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Shared Resource Core

The purpose of the Biostatistics and Bioinformatics Shared Resource Core (BBSRC) is to provide professional expertise in biostatistics and bioinformatics for all MVTCP projects, investigators and participants. The BBSRC supports the proposed two full projects and one pilot project with biostatistical and bioinformatic analysis plans. Sample size for each primary experiment is computed to provide high power to detect clinically or biologically relevant effects. BBSRC support is required for all MVTCP studies, with biostatisticians and bioinformaticians from this core assigned to each project. BBSRC personnel have worked and will continue to work closely with project leaders to ensure the BBSRC provides state-of-the-art statistical/bioinformatic support to the MVTCP.
