Double the Help with the Addition of Two TSU Interns
Join us in welcoming not one, but two interns to the Tennessee State University team–Lynda Chukwuemeka as a Graduate Assistant, and Cameron Shaw as a CAB Computer Science intern.
Lynda was originally born in Abuja, Nigeria, where she obtained her BS.c degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Abuja. After graduating, she spent time at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Clinic and Rouz Hospital & Maternity, before pursuing a master’s degree in public health at TSU.
Lynda is looking forward to learning, growing, and making a positive impact in the community by eliminating cancer disparities, strengthening & expanding cancer research, and reducing high cancer incidence and death rates among minorities.
Cameron, a New Orleans native joins the MVTCP as a Computer Science major at TSU. His passion for his career path is clear, as a member of the Association for Computing Machinery that has recently competed in Google’s hackathon. He’s enjoyed his studies in front-end and back-end web-development, and database management.
He has a strong passion for designing, recreating, and solving real world problems, and is eager to use his work in helping to stop cancer.
