Recognizing Dr. Ann Richmond
Dr. Ann Richmond has been a longstanding partner with the MVTCP, serving in the education core, participating in the renewal application, and serving as co-PI. We want to take a moment to recognize her amazing work inside and outside the MVTCP.
Her work with the MVTCP, started back in 2010, as she served on the education core. Alongside Dr. Steve Wolfe, she helped in the planning of the retreats. The following year, alongside Dr. Hal Moses, she became co-PI and participated in the renewal application. By 2017, following Dr. Moses’ retirement, she was joined by Dr. Tuya Pal. While she stepped down in 2021, she has continued to gain joy in the mentorship of faculty & students, while working with the partnership leadership.
We also want to highlight Dr. Richmond’s recent publication, in identifying potential drug combinations to improve breast cancer treatment. Read about it, here.
